Our London Site

Our Ilford site is the original 4MCS research facility and is home to our core clinical team. The clinic is fully equipped for a broad range of study types and sits at the heart of one of the most diverse and densely populated areas in the UK — something that is genuinely valuable in clinical research, where access to a wide range of participants helps studies reflect the real population.

Our database includes more than 35,000 people with a variety of health conditions, many of whom are based in or near London. This means we are able to recruit efficiently and run studies across multiple therapeutic areas from this single site.

All research at our Ilford clinic is conducted in line with MHRA approval and current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.

What to Expect at a Visit

We understand that attending a research clinic can feel daunting, particularly if it is your first time. Our Ilford team works hard to make sure the experience is positive from start to finish.

From the moment you arrive, a member of staff will be available to guide you through your visit, explain what each procedure involves, and answer any questions you may have. You are also welcome to bring someone with you to your appointments for support.

We want every person who comes through our doors to feel informed, respected, and comfortable, not just as a participant in a study, but as an individual.

You can find answers to many common questions on our FAQ page, or read what previous participants have said on our testimonials page.
